Markus was born and raised in Linz/Austria, completed university with a Master’s degree in Business Administration in 1994 and collected professional experience until he moved to Saudi Arabia with his family and worked as a Sales & Marketing Manager.
After his return in 1999 he focused on management, sales and market development in Southeast Europe and the Middle East and joined EPLAN Software & Service in 2003.
As the International Sales Director he defined and led international expansion strategy including the start-up and subsequent management of EPLAN’s company units in Romania, Hungary, South Africa and Turkey plus EPLAN’s software resellers in various countries in EMEA.
