Walter Cor Hagigalinis is an engineer, technology executive and data center specialist with more than 25 years of professional experience in critical infrastructure, systems engineering and complex technology projects.
A graduate of the University Politehnica of Bucharest in Systems Engineering, Walter has built his career around the design, implementation and development of mission-critical infrastructure, with a strong focus on data centers, telecommunications, electrical systems, cooling infrastructure and systems integration.
As CEO of Synotech & Modularix, he is involved in the development of both conventional and modular data center infrastructure, addressing an industry increasingly shaped by accelerated computing requirements, AI workloads, higher power densities and the need for faster and more scalable deployment models.
Walter is an Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Designer (ATD), a certification he has held since 2015. His experience combines engineering expertise with more than two decades of management and project delivery in the technology and data center sectors.
Synotech provides end-to-end data center services covering design, construction, commissioning and operation, while the Synotech–Modularix partnership focuses on prefabricated modular data centers designed for rapid deployment, scalable capacity and AI-ready infrastructure.
At FACTORY 4.0 2026, Walter Cor Hagigalinis will present “Modular Data Center, Between a Global Challenge and a Local Reality”, exploring how global infrastructure pressures translate into practical, locally deployable data center solutions.
