Victor Adrian Vevera
Victor Adrian Vevera is the General Director of ICI Bucharest and a recognized expert in cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, high-performance computing and technological innovation.
Dr Eng. Adrian-Victor Vevera is the General Director of the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest, one of Romania’s key institutions in digital transformation, cybersecurity, emerging technologies and critical digital infrastructure. Under his leadership, ICI Bucharest has strengthened its role as a bridge between research, public administration, industry and international partners, supporting projects that contribute to responsible innovation and resilient digital infrastructure.
He coordinates strategic initiatives in digital transformation and artificial intelligence and is actively involved in developing Romania’s national AI ecosystem through projects such as the RO AI Factory and European collaborations, including the BSC AI Factory. Through his work, he contributes to the development of advanced digital skills and promotes the responsible integration of artificial intelligence across public administration, education, and industry, strengthening Romania’s position within European innovation networks.
At FACTORY 4.0, Victor will join Panel 3, “AI-Driven Robotics & Intelligent Automation: From Data to Competitive Advantage,” where he will contribute insights into artificial intelligence, advanced computing, cybersecurity and the development of resilient digital infrastructures that transform data into strategic and operational value.
