Răzvan Costea-Bărluțiu is Co-Founder & CEO of BraveX Aero, a Romanian aerospace company developing and manufacturing fixed-wing and VTOL unmanned aircraft for civil, security and defense applications. With over 20 years of experience in technology and entrepreneurship, he leads BraveX Aero’s strategy and industrial scale-up.
Răzvan Costea-Bărluțiu is Co-Founder and CEO of BraveX Aero, a Romanian manufacturer of long-range unmanned aerial systems. He brings more than 20 years of experience in technology, product development and entrepreneurship, including building and scaling technology companies from early-stage ventures through growth and exit.
BraveX Aero designs and manufactures fixed-wing and VTOL drones for applications including critical infrastructure and environmental monitoring, border surveillance, search and rescue, civil intervention, training and ISR operations. Its electric platforms can provide up to four hours of endurance and carry payloads of up to 7 kg.
The company is currently expanding its industrial capabilities in Romania. In 2026, BraveX Aero announced a cooperation with Romaero designed to increase production capacity for unmanned aircraft, alongside a €4 million financing round aimed at scaling production and industrializing new platforms.
