Felicia Akkaya is an educator, entrepreneur and President of the Romania–UK Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with extensive experience in education, leadership and international business relations. She was a candidate for the European Parliament in 2024.

Felicia Akkaya is an educator, entrepreneur and President of the Romania–UK Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with a career spanning education, leadership, entrepreneurship and international cooperation.

 

Her professional journey has been strongly connected to education. In 2009, she founded Junior School and went on to develop educational initiatives focused on children, learning and personal development. Her background combines education, psychology and entrepreneurship, giving her a multidisciplinary perspective on how people and organisations adapt to change.

 

Today, as President of the Romania–UK Chamber of Commerce and Industry, she promotes international collaboration, business partnerships and stronger connections between education, entrepreneurship and economic development. She is also actively involved in initiatives addressing leadership, communication and the development of future generations of professionals.

 

Felicia Akkaya was also a candidate in Romania’s 2024 European Parliament election, adding a public-policy perspective to her work across education, business and society.

 

At FACTORY 4.0, Felicia Akkaya will join Panel 6, “Workforce 2026: Upskilling for the AI-Powered Factory,” contributing perspectives on education, workforce development and the skills people and organisations need to remain relevant in an increasingly AI-driven industrial environment.
