Cosmin Georgescu

Cosmin Georgescu is the CEO and Co-Founder of ClusterPower, a Romanian technology infrastructure company specializing in hyperscale data centers, high-performance computing, cloud services and accelerated AI infrastructure.

With two decades of experience in energy infrastructure and complex technology projects, his professional background spans nuclear energy, wind and photovoltaic power, cogeneration systems and mission-critical data center development. This combination of energy and technology expertise places him at the intersection of two essential components of modern industry: reliable power and advanced computing capacity.

Under his leadership, ClusterPower has developed a technology campus near Craiova that provides high-density colocation, cloud computing, GPU-as-a-Service and NVIDIA-accelerated infrastructure for artificial intelligence workloads. The facility is part of NVIDIA’s DGX-Ready Data Center program and holds Tier III certifications from the Uptime Institute.

Cosmin promotes an integrated approach in which data centers are developed alongside resilient energy infrastructure. ClusterPower produces energy for its computing operations and uses cogeneration principles to recover residual heat and convert it into cooling, improving the overall efficiency of the campus. His work explores how data centers can become both strategic digital infrastructure and flexible participants in the broader energy ecosystem.

At FACTORY 4.0, Cosmin Georgescu will join Panel 2, “Energy Systems & Industrial Resilience: Powering the Factory of the Future,” bringing a practical perspective on how energy availability, efficient data centers, GPU computing and AI infrastructure can strengthen industrial competitiveness and resilience.
