Alexandru Nita leads the Technology Innovation department at CEC Bank, where he is involved in one of the most ambitious transformation programs in the institution’s history. His responsibilities include artificial intelligence and agentic AI strategy, cyber intelligence, digital identity, and the development of a scalable innovation ecosystem in close collaboration with executive teams across technology, security, business, and compliance.
Before joining CEC Bank, he served as Director of Innovation at BRD Groupe Société Générale, where he led the bank’s innovation function and founded the BRD AI Hackathon, an applied artificial intelligence initiative designed to accelerate the transition from strategic ambition to tangible prototypes and business value.
He strongly believes that meaningful innovation creates lasting impact through stronger teams, improved processes, and capabilities that continue to generate value long after individual projects are completed.
