Mariona Sanz is an experienced leader in innovation, business development and European funds management. She currently serves as Director of Innovation at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, where she is also responsible for managing AI Factory Services.
Previously, she served as Director General of European Funds for the Government of Catalonia and founded Girbau LAB at Girbau Group, bringing together experience from public administration, research and the manufacturing industry.
Her expertise includes strategic marketing, research and development, startup ecosystems and the design of innovation programs that connect technology with business and industrial needs.
At FACTORY 4.0, Mariona will join Panel 3, “AI-Driven Robotics & Intelligent Automation: From Data to Competitive Advantage,” where she will share insights into AI-driven innovation, advanced computing and the transformation of research and data into practical business value.
