Daniela Daraban

Daniela Raluca Dărăban is the Executive Director of the Federation of Energy Utilities Companies Associations (ACUE). With extensive experience in corporate affairs, communications, and public policy, she has built her career at the intersection of the private and public sectors, holding leadership roles in multinational companies as well as in national institutions.

At ACUE, Daniela plays a key role in representing and supporting the energy utilities sector in Romania. She advocates for modernization of distribution networks, large-scale investments, digitalization, and smart infrastructure, with the aim of making the Romanian energy sector more resilient, efficient, and sustainable. Her vision emphasizes aligning national priorities with European objectives, encouraging innovation, and strengthening collaboration between authorities, regulators, and industry stakeholders.

Through her leadership, ACUE has become a strong voice in promoting long-term strategies that ensure reliable services for consumers while also driving forward the energy transition. Daniela is a recognized promoter of sustainable growth, competitiveness, and digital transformation in the energy sector.
