Andrei Avram<\/b><\/span><\/h1><\/div>
Dr. Marius Andrei Avram currently holds the position of Technical Director at IMT Bucharest, where he has been involved since 2005. He earned his MSc in Plasma Physics in 2010 from the Faculty of Physics at the University of Bucharest, followed by a PhD in Electrical Engineering in 2014 from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, \u201cPolitehnica\u201d University of Bucharest.<\/div><\/header>
<\/div>

Dr. Avram’s expertise lies in the development and integration of advanced carbon-based materials, such as graphene derivatives, into various types of sensors designed for both industrial and research applications. His main focus is on harnessing the unique properties of graphene and other carbon-based materials to enhance sensor performance, particularly in areas like MEMS (Microelectromechanical Systems), microfluidics, micro-nano-electronics, and dedicated microstructures. These technologies have wide-ranging applications, from environmental monitoring to medical diagnostics and beyond.<\/p>\n

As the Technical Director, Dr. Avram plays a crucial role in overseeing the fabrication processes and the implementation of innovative carbon-based materials into sensor technologies. His work contributes significantly to advancements in the field of micro and nanoscale devices, aiming to push the boundaries of sensor technology and materials science, particularly in the development of more efficient, precise, and durable industrial sensors. His ongoing research is instrumental in bridging the gap between cutting-edge materials science and practical applications in both commercial and academic environments.<\/p>\n<\/div>
