Sergiu Roșianu has had an extensive career at Schaeffler Romania, currently holding the position of R&D Manager since 2012. He manages a team of 200 people and oversees key areas such as product development, advanced development, validation through simulation and testing, technical analysis, CAD method development, and PLM. His focus is on ensuring high performance and meeting customer expectations while fostering professional growth within his team.

From 2009 to 2012, Roșianu was Production Manager, overseeing a large team producing large bearings for the wind energy sector. His responsibilities included ensuring production quality and quantity, achieving agreed targets, and facilitating personnel development.

In 2009, he served as Product Manager, focusing on the production of products, adhering to quality standards, and ensuring sufficient staffing for production needs.

Before that, in 2008, he managed the Production Preparation Office, leading a team that prepared production plans for large bearings, including establishing production technology and performing price calculations.

His early career started with a two-year trainee program in Germany at Schaeffler KG (2005-2007), where he gained knowledge in project management and production technologies, especially focusing on large bearings for the wind industry. His expertise and leadership have contributed significantly to Schaeffler Romania’s success in research, development, and production.
